….I say it’s downright harassment, there is a time that you can be a proper street preacher and bother no one, and no one else would be upset about you, but the minute you get on a subway, all people care about is going from point A to point B, either to work or to home and that’s all they care about:
The fact that there is a growing movement of those who say that this is freedom of speech is a bunch of crap. I ran into a woman on the subway in Los Angeles once who had a white supremacist tattoo, did I go and say that it was wrong for her to have that tattoo? No, she was minding her own business and I was minding my own business. Even someone as wrong like that, can behave so civil when it comes to just riding down the subway toward whatever the heck their destination is, not to convert someone toward their philosophy which these street preachers are doing in an unnecessary manner that would lead toward uncivil discourse and even halting train service because of it which should be a crime.
It is harassment, NOT freedom of speech.
